Paid Up Policy

At member’s death, cover will continue for the spouse and biological children (children up to the age of 21/session age of policy) until the principal member’s retirement age of 65 at no additional cost.

Continuation

of policy when you are no longer part of the group scheme – Join the individual scheme Prospercare Continuation Plan and continue with your cover.

Further expansion

of the product has resulted in a National agreement with Martin’s and Mosaic Funerals whereby discounted packages are available to Prospercare members choosing to utilize Martin’s or Mosaic for their funeral services. They will also assist with the obtaining the documentation and submitting the claim to Prospercare.

Beef Product

This benefit will, on the death of the member and/or immediate family dependent and on approval of such submitted claim, produce delivery of a beef livestock or butchery voucher per life as per the Beef Schedule and categories’ table specified on the application form to the premises within South Africa selected by the Beneficiary. Add this to your existing funeral policy for only R69.38 per month. You can now also include extended family members on your Beef policy at an additional premium per person.

Tombstone CASH Benefit

This benefit will, on death of the member and/or immediate family depended and on approval of such submitted claim, pay out a cash amount as per the benefit schedule. A claim on this optional benefit shall also be subject to the waiting period as stipulated in the waiting period conditions and be approved only if the waiting period has been served from the date the member selected and started paying for this optional benefit. For as little as R30.00 you can cover your basic family on the R10 000 plan. For an additional premium you can also include your extended family between the age of 18 – 74 years at entry on the R5 000 or R10 000 option.

Repatriation Benefit

REPATRIATION” has been included in all options for the basic family. Assisting the beneficiary with the removal or transport of the deceased body from one area/province to another exceeding 100km. Foster children are FREE. REPATRIATION cover is available for 2nd spouses and extended family members at an ADDITIONAL R5 per person (T’s & C’s apply)
